How it works

1. Cast Cabal Ritual by paying 1, adding .
2. Cast Saw in Half by paying 2, destroying Izzet Chronarch and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
3. When the Izzet Chronarch tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, returning Saw in Half and Cabal Ritual from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This loop turns **Izzet Chronarch** into an engine of recursive recycling by using **Saw in Half** to split the original Wizard into a pair of freshly minted token copies. As those copies enter the battlefield, their triggered abilities reach into your graveyard to retrieve both **Saw in Half** and **Cabal Ritual**, immediately reloading your hand for the next iteration. Meanwhile, **Cabal Ritual** fuels the entire sequence with its boosted Threshold mana, ensuring you always have the black mana needed to recast your spells and keep the loop spinning indefinitely.
