How it works

1. Cast Sensei's Divining Top by paying 0 due to Samut.
2. When Sensei's Divining Top enters, Skyswimmer Koi triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Sensei's Divining Top by tapping it, causing you to draw a card and put Sensei's Divining Top on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Skyswimmer Koi trigger, causing you to draw Sensei's Divining Top from your library, and then discard a card other than Sensei's Divining Top.
5. Repeat

This ingenious loop turns a modest artifact into an infinite engine by leveraging Samut, the Driving Force to reduce the cost of Sensei's Divining Top all the way down to free. As you cast the Top for zero mana, Skyswimmer Koi swoops in with its triggered ability to reward you for the new artifact entering the battlefield. Before that loot trigger resolves, you simply tap the Top to draw a card and place it back on top of your library, allowing the Koi's resolution to draw it right back out so you can discard a card of your choice and repeat the cycle endlessly.
