How it works

1. During your upkeep, activate Clown Car's crew ability by tapping Black Carriage, causing Clown Car to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
2. Activate Black Carriage by sacrificing Clown Car.
3. When Clown Car dies, Salvaging Station triggers, untapping Salvaging Station.
4. Resolve the Black Carriage ability, untapping it.
5. Activate Salvaging Station by tapping it, returning Clown Car to the battlefield from your graveyard.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms a humble Clown Car into a self-sacrificing engine by relying on its ability to become a creature when crewed. During your upkeep, you tap Black Carriage to crew the Clown Car, turning it into an artifact creature so that sacrificing it to Black Carriage's untap cost actually triggers a death. That death instantly rewards you by triggering Salvaging Station, which untaps itself and can immediately tap to return the Clown Car right back to the battlefield from your graveyard. Because Black Carriage doesn't untap naturally during your untap step, sacrificing the Clown Car is the exact fuel needed to untap the Carriage, allowing you to repeat the entire cycle for infinite deaths and leaves-the-battlefield triggers.
