How it works

1. Activate Fungal Bloom by paying , putting two spore counters on a Fungus you control.
2. Activate a Fungus by removing two spore counters from it, creating a 1/1 Soldier and a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the Soldier and Saproling, adding .
4. Repeat.

This botanical engine is turbocharged by Pir, Imaginative Rascal, whose passive ability ensures that whenever Fungal Bloom adds spore counters to a Fungus, it receives an extra counter for free. Sporoloth Ancient then allows you to cash in those accumulated counters at a discount, utilizing its granted ability to spawn tokens. Queen Allenal of Ruadach doubles down on this growth by automatically pairing every generated Saproling with an extra 1/1 white Soldier token. Finally, Phyrexian Altar acts as the sacrificial heart of the machine, converting those tokens right back into the green mana needed to loop Fungal Bloom indefinitely.
