How it works

1. Activate Fungal Bloom by paying , putting two spore counters on a Fungus you control.
2. Activate a Fungus by removing two spore counters from it, creating two 1/1 Saproling creature tokens.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing two Saprolings, adding .
4. Repeat.

This botanical loop relies on a clever synergy of multipliers to turn a humble investment of green mana into a self-sustaining cycle. Fungal Bloom acts as the engine's starter, but once Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider doubles the incoming spore counters and Mondrak, Glory Dominus doubles the resulting Saproling tokens, the math swings wildly in your favor. Sporoloth Ancient provides the native ability for your Fungi to harvest those counters, and as you churn out swarms of Saprolings, Phyrexian Altar lets you sacrifice them to recoup the mana needed to keep Fungal Bloom pumping out counters all over again.
