How it works

1. Activate Fungal Bloom by paying , putting two spore counters on a Fungus you control.
2. Activate a Fungus by removing two spore counters from it, creating a 1/1 Squirrel and a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the Squirrel and Saproling, adding .
4. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in turning mana into an expanding tide of fungi and fury, anchored by Chatterfang, Squirrel General who multiplies every token you make by tagging along an extra 1/1 green Squirrel. When you prime the engine with Fungal Bloom, it feeds spore counters onto your Fungi—a process drastically accelerated by Winding Constrictor, which slips extra counters onto permanents whenever they are placed. From there, Sporoloth Ancient’s granted ability lets you cash in those accumulated spore counters to pump out tokens, which you immediately feed into Phyrexian Altar to generate the green mana needed to keep Fungal Bloom firing on all cylinders.
