Goblin Bombardment

How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When the persist creature enters the battlefield, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability, dealing 1 damage to any target.
5. Repeat.

This cunning little loop turns an ordinary persist creature into an endless engine of destruction by leveraging the passive power of Cayth, Famed Mechanist to grant fabricate 1 to your entire team. Whenever the persist creature enters the battlefield, its newly gained fabricate ability triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on it, which immediately neutralizes any incoming -1/-1 counter through state-based actions. You can then feed that same creature directly into Goblin Bombardment to deal endless damage, sending it back to the graveyard only for persist to bring it right back for another iteration.
