How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Cayth.
2. When Cayth dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Cayth enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
5. Repeat.

This loop is a masterclass in turning a card's own drawback into an engine, powered by the transformative presence of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight granting its side's persist ability to Cayth, Famed Mechanist. When you sacrifice Cayth to Goblin Bombardment, persist brings it right back with a -1/-1 counter, which is immediately neutralized by the +1/+1 counter granted by Cayth's own fabricate ability (amplified by its static grant to other nontoken creatures, or its own native trigger). Because the two counters annihilate each other as a state-based action, Cayth enters completely clean of counters and ready to be fed back into Goblin Bombardment for infinite sacrifice triggers and lethal damage.
