How it works

1. Activate the land with Squirrel Nest attached by tapping it, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
2. When the Squirrel enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
3. Activate Portent Tracker by tapping it, untapping the land with Squirrel Nest attached.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a simple patch of dirt into a bustling forest floor by exploiting a classic untap engine. You start by using Squirrel Nest to enchant a land so it can spawn a 1/1 green Squirrel creature token, which immediately triggers Intruder Alarm upon entry to untap all creatures. To keep the cycle going, you activate Portent Tracker to untap that enchanted land, while Intruder Alarm's global untap simultaneously readies Portent Tracker itself for the next iteration.
