How it works

1. Activate the land with Squirrel Nest attached by tapping it, creating a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
2. When the Squirrel enters, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
3. Activate Tidewater Minion by tapping it, untapping the land with Squirrel Nest attached.
4. Repeat.

This brilliant loop relies on the land enchanted by Squirrel Nest serving as the ignition point, producing a 1/1 green Squirrel token each time it taps. That newly arrived creature instantly triggers Intruder Alarm, which untaps all creatures across the battlefield. Among those newly refreshed permanents is Tidewater Minion, whose tap ability we use to untap the enchanted land so it can begin the cycle anew. While the Minion's static defender ability keeps it safely out of combat, its active tap skill and the untap wave make this a masterclass in recursive energy.
