How it works

  1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Metamorphosis Fanatic.
  2. When Metamorphosis Fanatic dies, Sultai Flayer triggers, causing you to gain 4 life.
  3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Junji.
  5. When Junji dies, it and Sultai Flayer trigger.
  6. Resolve the Sultai Flayer trigger, causing you to gain 4 life.
  7. Resolve the Junji trigger, returning Metamorphosis Fanatic from your graveyard to the battlefield and causing you to lose 2 life.
  8. When Metamorphosis Fanatic enters, it triggers, returning Junji from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  9. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  10. Repeat.
