How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Glint-Sleeve Artisan.
2. When Glint-Sleeve Artisan dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Glint-Sleeve Artisan enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's back face, Isilu, to grant persist to your nontoken creatures, allowing Glint-Sleeve Artisan to continuously cheat death. As Glint-Sleeve Artisan enters the battlefield, its fabricate 1 ability triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on itself, which neatly cancels out the -1/-1 counter it received from persist. From there, you simply feed Glint-Sleeve Artisan to Thermopod, generating a steady stream of red mana while sending the Artisan back to the graveyard to restart the cycle.
