How it works

1. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing Glint-Sleeve Artisan.
2. When Glint-Sleeve Artisan dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Glint-Sleeve Artisan enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's back face to grant persist to your nontoken creatures, allowing Glint-Sleeve Artisan to repeatedly enter and leave the battlefield. When Glint-Sleeve Artisan enters, its fabricate ability places a +1/+1 counter on it that neatly cancels out the -1/-1 counter it received from persist, resetting its ability to die and recur infinitely. Meanwhile, Phantom Train acts as the sacrifice outlet that keeps the engine turning while growing larger with its own activated ability.
