How it works

1. Activate Extruder by sacrificing Wingrattle Scarecrow.
2. When Wingrattle Scarecrow dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. Resolve the Extruder ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Extruder into an engine for infinite sacrifice and death triggers by feeding it Wingrattle Scarecrow over and over again. Normally, the Scarecrow's persist ability would only let it return once before a -1/-1 counter locked it out for good, but Melira, Sylvok Outcast steps in with her static ability to completely prevent -1/-1 counters from being placed on your creatures at all. Because the Scarecrow keeps coming back pristine, Extruder can continuously sacrifice it to fuel its activated ability and pile infinite +1/+1 counters onto your creatures.
