How it works

1. Activate Arcbound Ravager by sacrificing Wingrattle Scarecrow.
2. When Wingrattle Scarecrow dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. Resolve the Arcbound Ravager ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Melira, Sylvok Outcast and her passive ability to completely negate the drawback of persist, allowing Wingrattle Scarecrow to return from the graveyard without ever receiving a -1/-1 counter. By repeatedly sacrificing that Scarecrow to Arcbound Ravager, you feed the Ravager a steady stream of artifact sacrifices to grow its power while triggering an endless cycle of leaves-the-battlefield, entry, and death triggers. The Modular ability of the Ravager can then be leveraged to concentrate all those accumulated counters wherever you need them most, turning an un-stoppable mechanical cycle into an overwhelming board state.
