How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Thunderblust.
2. When Thunderblust dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a persistent threat into endless fuel for your graveyard engine. By sacrificing Thunderblust to Carrion Feeder, you trigger the creature's persist ability to bring it right back to the battlefield. Normally, persist would saddle Thunderblust with a -1/-1 counter that locks it out of returning a second time, but Melira, Sylvok Outcast steps in with her static ability to completely prevent those counters from ever being placed. With Melira neutralizing the drawback, you can endlessly recycle Thunderblust to stack infinite +1/+1 counters onto Carrion Feeder while generating a storm of sacrifice, entry, and death triggers.
