How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Glen Elendra Archmage.
2. When Glen Elendra Archmage dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability
4. Repeat.

This elegant engine relies on Melira, Sylvok Outcast's static ability to suppress the -1/-1 counters that would normally penalize persist, allowing Glen Elendra Archmage to return to the battlefield fresh every single time it dies. By feeding the Archmage into Yahenni, Undying Partisan's sacrifice ability, you trigger endless entry, departure, and death events while keeping Yahenni protected behind its own indestructible granted state.
