How it works

  1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Puppeteer Clique.
  2. When Puppeteer Clique dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira.
  3. When Puppeteer Clique enters, it triggers, putting a creature from an opponent's graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
  4. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  5. Repeat.
