How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing Melira.
2. When Melira dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its static effect.
3. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the interaction between Yahenni, Undying Partisan and Melira, Sylvok Outcast, backed by the versatile transforming presence of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight to keep the engine running. When Isilu grants Melira persist, sacrificing Melira to Yahenni's ability normally triggers her return with a -1/-1 counter; however, Melira's own static ability prevents those counters from being placed on your creatures at all. This allows Melira to return completely unblemished every single time, feeding endless sacrifice and death triggers to Yahenni while keeping the entire cycle infinitely repeatable.
