How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Tarpan.
2. When Tarpan dies, it and Mortuary triggers.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Tarpan from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Tarpan trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Cast Tarpan from the top of your library by paying 1 life due to Gwenom.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns a humble centaur into an infinite engine by leveraging Mortuary to constantly recycle Tarpan back to the top of your library every time it hits the graveyard. While Thermopod provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to generate red mana and keep the cycle moving, Gwenom, Remorseless is the true catalyst that bridges the gap, letting you bypass conventional mana costs to cast Tarpan over and over by simply paying life instead. Because Tarpan naturally offsets that life payment with its own death trigger, you net infinite death triggers, life, and red mana without ever running out of resources.
