How it works

1. Declare The Incredible Hulk and Maestros Diabolist as attackers.
2. Maestros Diabolist triggers, creating a 1/1 Devil creature token.
3. Holding priority, activate Thermopod by sacrificing the Devil.
4. When the Devil dies, it triggers, dealing 1 damage to The Incredible Hulk.
5. The Incredible Hulk triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it, then untapping it and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
6. Repeat each combat phase.

This ingenious loop hinges on Maestros Diabolist generating a fresh Devil token every time you head into combat, which is immediately fed to Thermopod to churn out red mana. That sacrificed Devil triggers its own death ability to ping your own side of the board, dealing damage directly to Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk. Because Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk triggers whenever he takes damage—thanks to his enrage ability—he happily packs on a +1/+1 counter, untaps himself, and hands you an additional combat phase. This lets you cycle right back into Maestros Diabolist's attack trigger to make another Devil, sustaining an infinite chain of combat phases, sacrifices, and damage.
