How it works
Cast Clone Legion by paying 7, causing you to create a token copy of Hidetsugu and Kairi and Damage Control Crew.
Put the token Hidetsugu and Kairi into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
The Hidetsugu and Kairi token's first and second abilities trigger, as well as Damage Control Crew.
Resolve the Damage Control Crew trigger, returning Clone Legion from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve the first Hidetsugu and Kairi trigger, causing you to draw three cards and then put Clone Legion and another card on top of your library, ensuring Clone Legion is on top.
Resolve the second Hidetsugu and Kairi trigger, exiling Clone Legion from the top of your library, then causing an opponent to lose 9 life and allowing you to cast Clone Legion from exile without paying its mana cost.
Resolve Clone Legion, causing you to create a token copy of Hidetsugu and Kairi and Damage Control Crew.
Repeat from step 2.
This ingenious loop starts by casting Clone Legion to flood the board with token copies of both Hidetsugu and Kairi and Damage Control Crew, immediately sacrificing the extra legendary ogres to the state-based legend rule. As the dust settles, Damage Control Crew's entry trigger dips into your graveyard to fish Clone Legion right back into your hand, while the dying Hidetsugu and Kairi sets up its explosive death trigger. When that death trigger resolves, it forces an opponent to lose life equal to the exiled card's mana value and lets you cast it for free—fueling the very spell you need to repeat the cycle infinitely.
