How it works

  1. Declare The Incredible Hulk and Pugnacious Pugilist as attackers.
  2. Pugnacious Pugilist triggers, creating a 1/1 Devil creature token.
  3. Holding priority, activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the Devil.
  4. When the Devil dies, it triggers, dealing 1 damage to The Incredible Hulk.
  5. The Incredible Hulk triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it, then untapping it and causing you to get an additional combat phase after this one.
  6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
  7. Repeat each combat phase.
