How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Hero.
2. When Optimus Prime, Hero dies, its second ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
3. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader.
4. When Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader dies, Valkyrie's Call triggers, returning Optimus Prime from your graveyard to the battlefield as Optimus Prime, Hero as an Angel with flying.
5. Resolve both Umbral Collar Zealot abilities from steps 1 and 3.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns our iconic Autobot leader into an endless recycling engine by exploiting the unique back-and-forth transformation rules of dual-faced cards. You begin by sacrificing Optimus Prime, Hero using Umbral Collar Zealot, which triggers his own death ability to return him to the battlefield transformed as Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader. From there, you sacrifice that freshly flipped form to Umbral Collar Zealot once more; this time, Valkyrie's Call steps in to return him to the battlefield back on his front side, ready to repeat the entire cycle.
