How it works

1. Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least 2.
2. Activate Crab Umbra by paying 2, untapping Selvala.
3. Repeat.
4. If you control a creature with power 5 or greater, this combo nets infinite colored mana.

This elegant loop transforms raw muscle into a limitless reservoir of mana by pairing Selvala, Heart of the Wilds with Crab Umbra. Because Selvala's activated ability produces mana equal to the greatest power among creatures you control—which easily hits 5 or greater to net a surplus—you can repeatedly fund Crab Umbra's untap ability. Each cycle resets Selvala, allowing you to filter through your colors and flood your mana pool with infinite colored mana for the rest of your turn.
