How it works

Because Selvala's own tap ability generates massive amounts of mana based on the greatest power among creatures you control (yielding at least enough to comfortably cover the cost), you easily net a profit on each iteration. By cycling the mana through Voltaic Construct to ready Selvala over and over, you effortlessly generate infinite colored mana while repeatedly untapping your newly artifact-ified creatures.
