How it works

1. Cause Selvala to become an artifact using Thran Forge.
2. Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least 3.
3. Activate Voltaic Construct by paying 2, untapping Selvala.
4. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms Selvala, Heart of the Wilds into an artifact creature with the help of Thran Forge, allowing her to be directly targeted by Voltaic Construct's untapping ability. Once Selvala generates more than enough mana to cover the activation costs of both Voltaic Construct and her own tapping ability, you can repeat the process as many times as you like. Because Selvala's mana production scales with the greatest power among creatures you control, this engine leaves you with an infinite supply of colored mana to fuel the rest of your strategy.
