How it works

1. Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least 1.
2. Cast Wirewood Symbiote by paying .
3. Activate Mirror Entity by paying 1, giving creatures you control all creature types and base power and toughness 1/1 until end of turn.
4. Activate Wirewood Symbiote by returning it from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Selvala.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Mirror Entity's ability to temporarily rewrite the creature types and stats of your board, ensuring every creature counts as an Elf so Wirewood Symbiote can repeatedly bounce itself to your hand. As you recast Wirewood Symbiote, its entrance triggers Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, whose tapped ability conveniently uses the massive power granted by Mirror Entity to generate a surplus of colored mana. Tap Selvala for a windfall of mana, bounce Wirewood Symbiote to untap her, and use that mana to recast the Symbiote while pumping your entire team to astronomical proportions.
