How it works

1. Activate Selvala by paying and tapping it, adding at least 2
2. Activate Aphetto Alchemist by tapping it, targeting Selvala.
3. Battlemage's Bracers triggers, causing you to pay 1 to copy Aphetto Alchemist's ability, targeting Aphetto Alchemist.
4. Resolve both Aphetto Alchemist abilities, untapping it and Selvala.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Selvala, Heart of the Wilds into a massive mana engine by exploiting how Battlemage's Bracers interacts with activated abilities. When you tap Selvala for a wave of green mana, you fuel the {1} payment required by Battlemage's Bracers whenever Aphetto Alchemist activates its tapping ability. Because the Bracers copy the untap effect to target Aphetto Alchemist itself while the original untaps Selvala, both creatures are immediately ready to repeat the process. This generates infinite colored mana and endless untaps for your board, perfectly setting up whatever game-winning spells you need next.
