How it works

1. Cast Leonin Relic-Warder by paying .
2. When Leonin Relic-Warder enters, its first ability triggers, allowing you to exile Leonin Relic-Warder due to Ygra.
3. When Leonin Relic-Warder leaves the battlefield, its last ability triggers, returning itself from exile to the battlefield.
4. Repeat from step 2 any number of times.

This clever loop relies entirely on Ygra, Eater of All transforming every other creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact in addition to its other types. Because of this static ability, when you cast Leonin Relic-Warder, its own enter-the-battlefield trigger must target a valid artifact or enchantment—and since the Relic-Warder itself is now a Food artifact thanks to Ygra, it can legally target itself! The resulting infinite loop of Leonin Relic-Warder exiling itself and immediately returning to the battlefield triggers endlessly, letting you generate an infinite number of enter-the-battlefield and leave-the-battlefield events for both creatures and artifacts.
