How it works

  1. Activate Mana Crypt by tapping it, adding CC.
  2. Activate Makeshift Munitions by paying 1 and sacrificing Mana Crypt, dealing 1 damage to any target.
  3. Activate Emry by tapping it, allowing you to cast Mana Crypt from your graveyard this turn.
  4. Cast Mana Crypt from your graveyard by paying 0.
  5. Jeskai Ascendancy's first and second abilities trigger.
  6. Resolve the first trigger, causing creatures you control to get +1/+1 until end of turn and untapping all creatures you control.
  7. Resolve the second trigger, allowing you to loot.
  8. Repeat.

This vintage-legal loop hinges on Jeskai Ascendancy to continuously refresh your battlefield as you cycle a single artifact back and forth. By tapping Mana Crypt for colorless mana and sacrificing it to Makeshift Munitions, you deal damage while feeding the artifact into your graveyard. From there, Emry, Lurker of the Loch lets you recast Mana Crypt for free due to its zero mana value, which in turn triggers Jeskai Ascendancy to untap Emry and let you loot through your library.
