How it works

1. Activate Aphelia by paying 4, causing an opponent to lose half their life total, rounded up, whenever they are dealt combat damage by a Gorgon or Snake this turn.
2. Deal combat damage to the opponent using a Gorgon and/or Snake.
3. Aphelia triggers, causing the opponent to lose at least their entire life total due to Bloodletter of Aclazotz.
4. The opponent loses the game due to having 0 or less life.

This lethal combination turns a modest swarm of reptilian tokens into an instant-kill threat by weaponizing life-loss math. Once you activate Aphelia, Viper Whisperer's formidable ability, any combat damage dealt by your Gorgons and/or Snakes triggers a devastating penalty that slices an opponent's life total in half. That already punishing loss is instantly caught and amplified by Bloodletter of Aclazotz, whose replacement effect doubles the incoming life-loss during your turn, completely wiping out even the healthiest opponent in a single blow.
