How it works

1. Activate Auton Soldier using Avatar Kuruk's ability by paying 20 minus 1 for each creature and/or artifact you can tap while activating it, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Activate Fortune's saddle ability by tapping Auton Soldier, causing Fortune to become saddled until end of turn.
3. Declare Fortune as an attacker. At end of combat, Fortune triggers, blinking it and Auton Soldier. Choose to have Auton Soldier enter the battlefield as a copy of Avatar Kuruk.
4. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop exploits the non-legendary copying power of Auton Soldier to repeatedly reset and exploit Avatar Kuruk (the back face of The Legend of Kuruk // Avatar Kuruk). By having Auton Soldier enter the battlefield as a copy of Avatar Kuruk, it retains its artifact type and gains a fresh ability to activate the daunting {20} waterbend exhaustion cost with the help of your tapped board. Meanwhile, Fortune, Loyal Steed works in tandem by blinking both itself and the Auton Soldier copy at the end of combat each turn, ensuring that Auton Soldier can continually re-enter as a fresh Avatar Kuruk to take infinite turns.
