How it works

1. Activate Pili-Pala by tapping it, adding .
2. Activate Pili-Pala by paying 2 and untapping it, adding one mana of any color.
3. Repeat.

This colorful loop hinges on Ashaya, Soul of the Wild turning Pili-Pala—and every other nontoken creature you control—into a Forest land alongside its creature type, allowing it to tap directly for mana. Because Pili-Pala's ability produces three times as much mana thanks to Nyxbloom Ancient's triple-mana replacement effect, tapping the scarecrow generates a surplus of green energy. You can then use a portion of that windfall to pay the activation cost of Pili-Pala's untap ability, going well infinite on colored mana of any type in the process.
