How it works

1. Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
2. When Bladewing's Thrall enters, Dragonback Assault triggers, as Bladewing's Thrall is a land due to Ashaya.
3. Holding priority, activate Zuran Orb by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
4. Resolve the Dragonback Assault trigger, creating a 4/4 Dragon creature token.
5. When the Dragon enters, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms Bladewing's Thrall into a self-sacrificing engine by letting Ashaya, Soul of the Wild permanently turn it into a land type. Because it is a land, casting the Thrall causes Dragonback Assault to trigger when it enters, giving you a chance to sacrifice the Thrall to Zuran Orb in response. That sacrifice puts the Thrall in the graveyard, which then triggers its return to the battlefield whenever the Dragonback Assault's landfall-like trigger creates a 4/4 Dragon token.
