This loop transforms your battlefield into an engine of endless recursion by layering static type transformations with graveyard triggers. Thanks to Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, every nontoken creature you cast immediately enters the battlefield as a Forest, which Celestial Dawn then turns into a Plains. This neat color-pie trick ensures that whenever you deploy a creature, Emeria Shepherd's landfall ability sees it enter as a Plains and triggers its most powerful clause: returning a nonland permanent card straight to the battlefield instead of your hand. Before that trigger resolves, you sacrifice the newly entered creature to Thaumatog, fueling its sacrifice ability while feeding the loop. You can then endlessly recur any creature card from your graveyard, generating infinite sacrifice, death, and landfall triggers along the way.
