How it works

1. Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
2. When Bladewing's Thrall enters, Dragonback Assault triggers, as Bladewing's Thrall is a land due to Ashaya.
3. Holding priority, activate Thaumatog by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
4. Resolve the Dragonback Assault trigger, creating a 4/4 Dragon creature token.
5. When the Dragon enters, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns your own creatures into fuel for a self-sustaining cycle by letting Ashaya, Soul of the Wild effortlessly transform Bladewing's Thrall into a land that immediately triggers Dragonback Assault upon entering the battlefield. While that initial enchantment trigger is still waiting on the stack, Thaumatog steps in to sacrifice the Thrall, sending it safely to the graveyard so it can be resurrected whenever the newly spawned Dragon token hits the board. That arriving Dragon resurrects Bladewing's Thrall right back to the battlefield, repeating the process to generate infinite landfall triggers, sacrifice triggers, and an infinitely massive Thaumatog fueled by endless recycling.
