How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Ashaya, adding CC.
2. When Ashaya dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Ashaya from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attaching Nim Deathmantle to it.
3. When Ashaya enters the battlefield, Nesting Dragon triggers, creating a 0/2 Dragon Egg creature token.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Dragon Egg, adding CC.
5. When the Dragon Egg dies, it triggers, creating a 2/2 Dragon creature token.
6. Repeat.
7. If you control a nontoken creature that has haste, you may instead sacrifice it, and then tap it each iteration to get infinite green mana and colorless mana.

This intricate loop turns the sacrifice outlet Ashnod's Altar into an engine for infinite resources by leveraging the unique properties of Ashaya, Soul of the Wild. Because Ashaya makes all your nontoken creatures into lands in addition to their types, sacrificing Ashaya to the Altar triggers its own rebirth via Nim Deathmantle while simultaneously satisfying the landfall ability of Nesting Dragon. Every time Ashaya returns, a 0/2 Dragon Egg token is born, which you can then sacrifice to the Altar for more mana and to spawn a 2/2 Dragon token, keeping the chain perpetually fueled.
