How it works
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Ashaya, adding CC.
When Ashaya dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Dryad Arbor from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attaching Nim Deathmantle to it.
When Ashaya enters the battlefield, Dancing from Dark to Dawn triggers, creating a creature token.
Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the creature token, adding CC.
Repeat.
If you control a nontoken creature that has haste, you may instead sacrifice it, and then tap it each iteration to get infinite green mana and colorless mana.
This loop uses Ashnod's Altar as the engine to continuously sacrifice creatures, while Nim Deathmantle provides the recurring resurrection trigger by funneling mana back into its own resurrection cost. The brilliance of this setup relies heavily on Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, whose static ability turns your nontoken creatures into lands in addition to their types—allowing the loop to treat creature resurrections as land drops and fuel the engine's mana requirements seamlessly. Meanwhile, Dancing from Dark to Dawn capitalizes on this endless cycle by triggering whenever creatures enter the battlefield or lands drop, rewarding your persistence with a steady stream of tokens and counters to keep the loop self-sustaining.
