How it works

1. Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
2. When Bladewing's Thrall enters, Dragonback Assault triggers, as Bladewing's Thrall is a land due to Ashaya.
3. Holding priority, activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
4. Resolve the Dragonback Assault trigger, creating a 4/4 Dragon creature token.
5. When the Dragon enters, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This ingenious loop turns your battlefield into a self-sustaining engine by turning every creature into a literal foundation for your strategy. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting by making your nontoken creatures into Forest lands in addition to their other types, which cleverly ensures that even casting Bladewing's Thrall causes it to enter as a land and trigger Dragonback Assault. Before that damage resolves, you sacrifice Bladewing's Thrall to Carrion Feeder, pumping up the zombie while sending the Thrall safely to the graveyard. The resulting Dragonback Assault landfall trigger makes a 4/4 red Dragon token with flying, and that very same Dragon entry immediately triggers Bladewing's Thrall to return itself straight from your graveyard back to the battlefield, ready to start the cycle all over again.
