How it works

1. Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
2. When Bladewing's Thrall enters, Dragonback Assault triggers, as Bladewing's Thrall is a land due to Ashaya.
3. Holding priority, activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
4. Resolve the Dragonback Assault trigger, creating a 4/4 Dragon creature token.
5. When the Dragon enters, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms a simple sacrifice outlet into an engine of endless dragons and growth by turning your creature base into the very fuel that triggers your payoffs. With Ashaya, Soul of the Wild on the battlefield, Bladewing's Thrall and any other nontoken creatures instantly gain the Forest land type, meaning every time Bladewing's Thrall enters the battlefield, Dragonback Assault sees a land drop and triggers to generate a 4/4 red Dragon token with flying. You then use Bloodflow Connoisseur to sacrifice Bladewing's Thrall, and the subsequent arrival of that new Dragon token allows Bladewing's Thrall to trigger and return itself straight from your graveyard to the battlefield to restart the cycle.
