How it works

1. Cast Shield Sphere by paying 0.
2. When Shield Sphere enters the battlefield as a Forest land due to Ashaya, Nissa triggers, adding 1.
3. Activate Meloku by paying 1 and returning Shield Sphere to your hand from the battlefield, creating a 1/1 Illusion creature token with flying.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms free artifacts into a self-sustaining engine, turning Meloku the Clouded Mirror into an infinite token generator. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting by turning your nontoken creatures—including Shield Sphere, cast for zero mana—into Forests the moment they enter the battlefield. That land status immediately trips Nissa, Resurgent Animist's landfall ability to refund the exact mana needed to activate Meloku, which bounces the Shield Sphere right back to your hand.
