How it works

1. Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
2. When Bladewing's Thrall enters, Nesting Dragon triggers, as Bladewing's Thrall is a land due to Ashaya.
3. Holding priority, activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
4. Resolve the Nesting Dragon trigger, creating a 0/2 Dragon Egg creature token.
5. When the Dragon Egg enters, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns your battlefield into a self-sustaining ecosystem by completely redefining what a creature is, thanks to Ashaya, Soul of the Wild making every nontoken creature you control a land in addition to its other types. Because of this static ability, casting Bladewing's Thrall counts as a land entering the battlefield, which triggers Nesting Dragon to spawn a Dragon Egg token. You can then use Bartolomé del Presidio to immediately sacrifice the Thrall, sending it to the graveyard. When the Egg token arrives, it satisfies the condition of Bladewing's Thrall's triggered ability—which watches for any Dragon entering—allowing the Thrall to leap right back out of the graveyard and restart the entire cycle.
