How it works

1. Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
2. When Bladewing's Thrall enters, Nesting Dragon triggers, as Bladewing's Thrall is a land due to Ashaya.
3. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
4. Resolve the Nesting Dragon trigger, creating a 0/2 Dragon Egg creature token.
5. When the Dragon Egg enters, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop transforms your graveyard and sacrifice outlet into a self-sustaining engine by turning every creature into a land with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild. Whenever Bladewing's Thrall enters the battlefield, Ashaya ensures it counts as a land to immediately trigger Nesting Dragon, which spawns a Dragon Egg token. That new token arrival acts as a Dragon to satisfy Bladewing's Thrall's graveyard-return ability, while sacrificing the Thrall to Phyrexian Altar in response generates the mana needed to recast it and keep the chain alive.
