How it works

1. Cast Bladewing's Thrall by paying 2.
2. When Bladewing's Thrall enters, Nesting Dragon triggers, as Bladewing's Thrall is a land due to Ashaya.
3. Holding priority, activate Need for Speed by sacrificing Bladewing's Thrall.
4. Resolve the Nesting Dragon trigger, creating a 0/2 Dragon Egg creature token.
5. When the Dragon Egg enters, Bladewing's Thrall triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns your graveyard into a perpetual engine by weaving together creature types, land statuses, and triggers. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting of turning all your nontoken creatures into Forest lands in addition to their other types, meaning Nesting Dragon will trigger its landfall ability every time Bladewing's Thrall enters the battlefield. You then use Need for Speed to sacrifice Bladewing's Thrall to the graveyard, setting up a continuous cycle where the resulting Dragon Egg token's entry prompts Bladewing's Thrall to leap right back onto the battlefield.
