How it works

1. Cast any creature by paying its mana cost.
2. When the creature enters as a Plains due to Ashaya and Emeria Shepherd, Emeria Shepherd triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing the creature cast in step 1.
4. Resolve the Emeria Shepherd trigger, returning another creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns your entire creature base into a self-sustaining engine by weaving together type-shifting and landfall. With Ashaya, Soul of the Wild on the battlefield, every nontoken creature you control becomes a Forest, and Celestial Dawn steps in to ensure those lands are simultaneously treated as Plains. Because these creatures count as Plains entering the battlefield, they trigger Emeria Shepherd's landfall ability, letting you cheat nonland permanents directly from your graveyard straight onto the battlefield. You can then use Bartolomé del Presidio to sacrifice that creature before the trigger resolves, fueling a continuous cycle that loops your graveyard right back into play while growing Bartolomé del Presidio into a massive threat with infinite counters.
