This engine turns a humble Cleric into a black mana dynamo by weaving together a brilliant web of card type interactions. Ashaya, Soul of the Wild does the heavy lifting by turning all your nontoken creatures—including Initiates of the Ebon Hand—into Forest lands in addition to their other types. From there, Blossoming Tortoise steps in with its cost-reduction ability, dropping the activation cost of the land creatures' abilities from {1} down to zero.
