How it works

1. Cast any creature by paying its mana cost.
2. When the creature enters as a Plains due to Ashaya and Emeria Shepherd, Emeria Shepherd triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Thermopod by sacrificing the creature cast in step 1.
4. Resolve the Emeria Shepherd trigger, returning another creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever engine transforms your creature drops into a self-sustaining loop by weaponizing land-type overlap and graveyard recursion. Thanks to Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, every nontoken creature you cast enters as a Forest, which Celestial Dawn immediately overrides to make them Plains while also granting you the ability to spend white mana as any color. Whenever one of these creatures hits the battlefield, Emeria Shepherd's landfall ability triggers, seeing a Plains enter and allowing you to pull a fallen nonland permanent straight from your graveyard back to the battlefield. Before that recursion resolves, you sacrifice that same creature to Thermopod to generate red mana and fuel the next iteration, letting you endlessly recur your entire creature yard while producing infinite sacrifices, mana, and triggers.
