How it works

1. Cast any creature by paying its mana cost.
2. When the creature enters as a Plains due to Ashaya and Emeria Shepherd, Emeria Shepherd triggers.
3. Holding priority, activate Need for Speed by sacrificing the creature cast in step 1.
4. Resolve the Emeria Shepherd trigger, returning another creature from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This crafty loop turns your entire creature base into a self-sustaining engine by intertwining the unique rules interactions of Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and Celestial Dawn. Because Ashaya makes your nontoken creatures into Forests, and Celestial Dawn turns all your lands into Plains, any creature you cast enters the battlefield as a Plains, which immediately triggers Emeria Shepherd's landfall ability to return a card from your graveyard. Before that trigger resolves, you use Need for Speed to sacrifice that newly entered creature—which is legally a land—to fuel the haste-granting ability, putting it safely into the graveyard so Emeria Shepherd can return it alongside any other creature card. By looping this process endlessly, you can pull every single creature from your graveyard straight onto the battlefield while generating infinite enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
