How it works

1. Cast Ornithopter by paying 0.
2. When Ornithopter enters the battlefield as a Forest land due to Ashaya, Lotus Cobra triggers, adding 1.
3. Activate Meloku by paying 1 and returning Ornithopter to your hand from the battlefield, creating a 1/1 Illusion creature token with flying.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Ashaya, Soul of the Wild to fundamentally rewrite the rules of your battlefield, turning every nontoken creature you control into a Forest land in addition to its other types. Because of this static ability, playing a zero-mana artifact like Ornithopter doesn't just deploy a creature—it enters as a land, immediately triggering Lotus Cobra to refund the mana you need. With that floating mana and the land-nature of your creatures, you can activate Meloku the Clouded Mirror to bounce Ornithopter back to your hand at the cost of returning a "land" and paying {1}, creating a 1/1 blue Illusion creature token in the process. Replaying the free Ornithopter lets you restart the cycle, generating an infinite storm count, endless landfall triggers, and an unstoppable army of flying illusions.
